Khasab Musandam mountain safari to mighty Hajar Mountains, Jebel Al-Harim, Khor Najd, and Bedouin village of Sayh. Join our off-road adventurous mountain safari to Jebel Harim, translated as the “Mountains of Women”. It is the highest peak of the Musandam Peninsula at 2,087 meters above sea level, where you will enjoy views of the Hajar Mountains. Along the way, you will be able to observe fossils dating back several million years.
Khasab Musandam mountain safari also gives you an opportunity to visit Bedouin village of Sayh, situated at 1100 meters above sea level. This is a small and peaceful village where one can cherish the beauty of Musandam on the plateau of the mountain. Our journey also takes us to Khawr Najid, a stunning sea view point overlooking the Indian Ocean, facing east.
REPORTING TIME – 09:00 AM MORNING – 01:00 PM AFTERNOON: It takes 3.5 hours from Dubai to Khasab Musandam Oman from including the border processing. If you are coming from Dubai then make sure you leave before 06:00 am to join morning session and by 10:00 am for afternoon session. You must report Dhow Khasab Tours office 30 minutes before starting the trip so our staff can guide you about the Khasab Musandam Mountain safari.

Well-known as the “Mountain of Women,” Jebel Harim his is the highest peak of the Khasab Peninsula. Adventurers who have been there – 2078 meters above ground – attest to the scenic views from the top of the mountain. You have to see it to believe it. Once at the summit of Jebel Harim, you will get a bird’s eye view of the Hajar range. It is phenomenal and truly breathtaking. What’s more, you can find rocks up there that are studded with marvellously preserved fossils which include ancient seafaring creatures like fish, clams, and several trilobites.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
- Single entry Oman visit vis is 5 OMR each passport and you need to pay 35 AED as you an exit fee.
- Visa can be obtained from the border or can be applied online at https://evisa.rop.gov.om/
- Before booking please check visa eligibility as all visa types and nationalities are not eligible.
- Passport must be valid for more than the next 90 days from the tour date to get a visa on arrival from the border.
- If UAE resident then, passport and visa must be valid for more than 90 days from travel day.
- Must have an original passport with you to cross borders otherwise will not be allowed.
- Must have vehicle ownership (Mulkia) to get insurance from the border if it is not already covered.
- If you are renting a car then you must get a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from car Rental Company to cross the borders otherwise call will not be allowed to cross the borders.
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Kids below 5 years are free, 5 to 10 are charged half price and above 10 years are charged full price.
- No charges if you cancel the tour 24 hours before the departure and we will refund the deposit.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of departure will not be acknowledged and there will not be any refund and deposit cannot be carry forwarded for next time as well.
- If you do not appear for the trip due to any reason, there will not be any refund.
